Founded in 2026 by Dr. Cassandra Johnson, Faith and Discovery STEAM Academy is a Christ-centered, non-chartered Christian academy serving students in grades 1-5 in Oakwood Village, Ohio. Opening in September 2026 at Mt. Zion Church, the academy combines faith, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) through innovative project-based learning.
Our mission is to nurture students spiritually, academically, and socially through hands-on experiences, interdisciplinary learning, and meaningful service. Students engage in real-world projects across core subjects while building skills.
With small class sizes, whole-brain learning approaches, outdoor experiential education, art therapy, and enriching fine arts opportunities, Faith and Discovery STEAM Academy provides a supportive environment where students discover their God-given purpose, strengthen their faith, and develop the skills needed to thrive in life.
